The Mind Expander is an inspired alternative to your average all-mountain board that’s built to slash, spin, stomp, or simply shred. Surf shaper Chris Christenson and Jeremy Jones designed the Mind Expander for the creative rider who draws lines blending freestyle, freeride and surf styles. The blunted nose, full size tail, tight sidecut, and 3D Contour Base 3.0 offer the nimble maneuverability of a directional board matched with the all-mountain performance of a directional twin.
The Mind Expander features a Surf Camber profile that has camber underfoot for better edge hold in variable conditions. To keep the playful board feel, the Mind Expander’s Bamboo Surf Core has V-core profiling that gives the board a softer flex between the feet for easy turn initiation and a stiffer flex in the tips so you won’t fold the nose. The Mind Expander is also built with Basalt Power Stringers for edge response, Rounded Recycled ABS Sidewalls for topsheet durability, and a super fast Sintered 8000 base.

Sintered 8000 Base: Ultra-durable, high-performance fast base with highly absorbent wax retention for superior glide in all conditions.
- High 3D Contour Base: A freeride-focused 3D Contour Base with 7mm spoon bevel in the nose and 0 to 7mm in the tail, starting just before the contact point.
- Low Traction Tech: Improves edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the board's running length, much like a serrated knife slicing through the snow.
- Carve Pack: Enhances carving performance by providing a more centered stance for improved balance, control, and precision during turns.
