2026 Lib Tech Mayhem Rocket Snowboard
Matt Biolos' High-Performance Freeride Missile
The Mayhem Rocket is a full-throttle freeride machine born from the mind of Matt Biolos aka Mayhem, a legendary surf shaper who brings his board design mastery to the mountains. Featuring artwork by Drew Brophy (@drewbrophy), this board captures the same explosive energy and fluid motion that define Mayhem’s high-performance designs. As part of Lib Tech’s experiMENTAL Division, the Rocket is built for aggressive riders who crave speed, power, and precision in every turn. Inspired by Mayhem’s high-performance surfboard designs, this snowboard thrives on steep faces, deep carves, and high-speed lines.
The Early Rise Directional Camber Profile provides explosive energy, edge hold, and confidence at speed, with a set-back stance, camber, and sidecut for optimal freeride performance, with a powerful nose for smooth turn initiation and a slightly tapered tail for effortless exits. The deep sidecut and mid-wide waist offer locked-in control through aggressive arcs, while the Original Power Construction (OP) keeps the board light, strong, and ultra-responsive. Finished with a knifecut sintered base, the Rocket blasts through any snow condition with maximum speed and durability.

Lib Tech has been blowing minds and breaking the rules of snowboard design since 1984. Built by riders, for riders, every board is handcrafted in the USA at Mervin Manufacturing—one of the most environmentally friendly snowboard factories in the world. These are the mad scientists behind Magne-Traction® serrated edges (turns ice into powder), Banana Technology (BTX) rocker (the original fun-enhancing shape), and some of the most durable, eco-conscious boards on the planet. From freestyle innovation to big-mountain domination, Lib Tech is always experimenting, always evolving, and always keeping snowboarding weird—in the best way possible. Not only do they push the limits of board tech, but they’ve also been paying and crediting independent artists properly since day one, something few other snowboard brands can claim.
